The newest video by HPN productions. This is a slightly weird concept that is kind of hard to understand. I'm going to use it as a way to introduce you all to the members of HPN productions. This "evaluation" processes our many facets and produces in writing a few of our dominant personality traits. It is definitely more experimental than a finished work as it still feels like bits and pieces. But until I figure out what it is lacking, here is the current state.
OK. I'm sorry. I usually refrain from posting all the beauty of the interwebs. But come on. Underwater engagement photos. These are the cutest things I've ever seen. Please go look.
I took these while visiting Nguhi (!!!!) in New York. All taken in Harlem, they're not the best photography, in fact they're pretty bad. But I loved how the colors were showing up on my camera that day. I apologize for the hackneyed subject matter.
I took these with a fisheye on the beach of the island of Turks and Caicos. I should have posted them a long, long time ago. More precisely last December when I took them. oops.
I realize that this has become somewhat of a photography blog instead of my intended fashion blog. I'll try to keep a little of both mixed in here. My next project is a Diana F+ camera that I got last week. Right now it only works with 120 film which is hella expensive. I'm therefore waiting for a 35mm replaceable back to arrive so that I can take pictures in a more accessible format. Look for more pictures soon!
I have music for you. I actually cannot focus on anything not music related since ACL ended. whoops.
Just listen and forget about everything for a second.
Nude - Radiohead
The Shrine/ An Argument - Fleet Foxes
When the Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin
Rococo - Arcade Fire
Everlasting Light - The Black Keys
Gold Lion - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Hold on - Yellow Ostrich
Haunted Heart - Little Hurricane
A little overwhelming. Sorry.

This post is in fact a day late. It is lovingly dedicated to my equestrian star, my should-be j-crew model, my studio art devotee, my architect-in-training. In a fuming rage, my brother disconnected the computer and scanner, requiring "system reorientation" as it were, on the most inconvenient day, July 5th. In my furious attempt to reach out on birthdays in obscure ways, this really screwed me up. But I'm posting this anyway; she probably won't read it until later anyway, she's too busy being a horseback riding badass. :)
To my lovely friend on this day after her special day, I would like to dedicate a poem. For use of profanities, I cannot post the entire piece here. It is a lovely work featured in 500 Days of Summer.
You know the one.
Roses are red
Violets are blue....
I love you my dear.
I am generally opposed to glowstick pictures. I just have this image in my head of twelve year olds with neon bracelets jumping around in the dark. And so they just emit unoriginality to me. But I broke my own rule. My cousin gave me glowsticks and I literally could not resist whipping out my camera. And the result was really... cool. I need to take a lesson from Kate and try new things. (Sorry there are so many; I had no criteria by which to judge them the better or worse.)
This one (above) is probably my favorite.
TWENTY SIX DAYS until the Harry Potter premiere!
I am oozing with excitement. In honor of the fantastic books and movies, I've decided to made a series of posts featuring outfits or tributes of sorts dedicated to various characters. To kick it off I've started with Bellatrix, of course. I went for a dark dress, dark makeup and black heels. The dress is actually dark blue on the top and mid thigh it cuts off to black mesh (as seen in the last two pictures). Even though I took the pictures outside I still wanted it to seem kind of dark, so I changed the settings accordingly. Although Bellatrix might not smile, I couldn't resist doing it in one of the photos. This was a lot of fun so please comment with character requests or any opinions on the post!
