Rolling in the Deep

Yesterday I had a day long excursion, roaming around Dallas with my friend Madeleine. We first went to the mall and hit up Urban Outfitters and then took a trip to south dallas to go thrift shopping. We ended the day by returning to northpark and seeing Water for Elephants, which half made me want to join the circus/live in the thirties/ beat up August.... Anyway! We only had time to get pictures of two of our outfits but i'll post some of the rest later.

PS: I just discovered this dress has pockets.

Blue Skies

Spring. What does this mean? This means that Natalie must shed her leather boots and spandex riding pants and 100% black outfits and start wearing colors again. So I'm wearing blue and brown and white which somehow makes me feel very southern. I think it's the chambray skirt with the brown leather belt. I finally almost fit in with Texans in this outfit. I also decided to open the balcony door and let some of the spring in (bad idea in retrospect; I seem to have forgotten that spring = mosquitos). Enjoy!

While out on the balcony, I found this butterfly. Which made me happy.
